Yes. Guardian Steel is 100% New Zealand owned and operated, with manufacturing based in Auckland that services the whole North Island.
Where is Guardian Steel sourced from?
Our steel is sourced from one of the most advanced steel mills in the world based in South Korea, known globally for its high-quality production for pre painted steel coil. It’s manufactured specifically to meet the challenging demands of New Zealand’s conditions.
Do you offer different profile types?
Yes. We supply both corrugated and trapezoidal steel roofing profiles. These suit a wide range of residential, commercial, and architectural builds.
What warranties do you offer?
Warranty coverage depends on the material type and location of the install. Our steel options offer up to 50 years perforation warranty and up to 18 years paint warranty in mild conditions. Marine zone warranties are adjusted based on exposure.
Are your products compliant with NZ building standards?
Absolutely. All Guardian Steel products meet AS/NZS 2728:2013 standards and are compliant with NZ Building Code requirements including B1 (structure), B2 (durability), E2 (external moisture), and F2 (hazardous building materials).
